If you want a more accurate Shadowrun experience, then yeah.
The SNES game, while I do like it, is basically an adventure game with half assed combat that's only loosely based on the tabletop game.

The Genesis game is unfortunately grindy.
You have to be content doing the same easy milk runs for a while to earn enough karma and nuyen to be able to do anything.
