I thought about getting an everdrive for n64, but the current ones are like $175. Also, is that a gba everdrive? I'm thinking about getting either one of those or an EZ flash device of some sort.

175? Jesus, did kikezz hike up the price? I got an ed64 a few years ago from his store and only paid ~100. I remember the 3.0 version was significantly more expensive but that only had meme bullshit like a clock for Animal Crossing

I got that same N8 NES flash cart. Some games have glitchy grfxs. FF1 shows random tilemap characters @ title screen, for example.

>> No.8543096

>>8542295
The firmware checks the clock on start, if the date on the ds is to new. The r4 locks itself. So that you have to buy the new version.
Workaround, you manually change the date on you ds ever so often, or you load a cracked firmware on it.

They're actually prone to failure in the sense that they will stop booting up. Mine has that where I have to remove it from the NDS multiple times but still sometimes only loads the GBA cart.

collectorfags actually think flashcarts&bootlegs devalue their 'investment', despite examples like counterfeit magic/poke cards having no impact on collector value. also reseller kikes don't want you to have affordable alternatives.

flashcarts are just tools, and bootlegs look like you traded a fiver for them at a flea market where you can also get DVDs with sloppy cover art and misspelled box copy. They have no effect on original games or consoles.
Personally, I don’t care what you use, just don’t act like you’re some kind of ultra-genius for doing what people have been doing for 40 years

I buy cheap games. I leave the expensive stuff to the people who are trading the things like crypto. I have a decent collection from when stuff was cheap.
