Is there a stranger /vr/ feeling than finding a gameboy camera at a Salvation Army and seeing decades old pictures of people you will never meet?

Had this happen but with a Packard Bell that had Windows 95 on it. Family pictures, bills, and misc from unknown people made a very long time ago.

I pulled these from a Pocket Camera I got imported from Japan, they had been deleted but were recoverable easily.

How easy is it to transfer the files to PC?

How do you recover them? Do you have to dump the ROM and dig through the memory or something?

If you have a way of dumping the SRAM from a GB cartridge, there are tools to extract the image files from the SRAM. I did it in the worst way which involved an ancient flashcart and a Mega Memory Card; there are much easier solutions now. When files are "deleted" on a GB Cam, they are just marked for deletion and not overwritten until the space is needed (like every computing device), so GB Camera SRAM extractor tools will just grab them if they haven't been overwritten.

I once found somebody else's USB drive that had a copy of StarCraft on it, along with a bunch of old photos
I don't know how the hell that got in my bedroom.

Of course. It would feel much stranger if you found it certain other places.

You could have just skipped that part and no one would have known how ignorant you are. Or not made such a broad claim. Why shoot yourself in the foot like that for no apparent gain?

I've had this with a bunch of 2DSes and some kiosk 3DSes that I obtained.
I've yet to find any dickpics on a 3DS camera app, but I'm sure it'll happen eventually.

It was just a generalization, calm down anon. Replace "every" with "many" and adjust to your liking.
