I completed it. The last boss is some tough shit with the performance going absolutely down the shitter at times and the camera juuuuuust throwing off your jumps enough but dammit I had a good time. I'm gonna dump some recordings and shots.

As a follow up to the last thread, the bosses in the game can be real fun. Deaths sometimes feel cheap because they're instantaneous. It's never a big set back and it pays it off well.

Anyway this guy is great. He's the CEO of the corporation that I think imprisoned Bruce Willis but I don't remember and I wasn't really paying attention. After killing him he tells you that there are others who will reign in the apocalypse. Where are you going?

Turns out the president is Satan. So you have to kill him and stop Apocalypse (hey that's the name of the game.) This is a fun fight but really tough thanks to technical issues with the camera and performance. It's worth struggling through just to say you did it. If you happen to see it in your life, pick it up. A bit of neversoft/ps1 history and a funny moment in games that resulted in a really fun pick up & play title. It's something I'll return to once in a while when I've got 30 minutes to kill and just wanna wipe out some dudes while Bruce throws one-liners.

Now to find another PS1 game to get obsessed over for a few weeks.

PS1 has so many underrated gems by virtue of having an unprecedented big catalogue with developers of the major 3 markets giving their best. Fuck those who say it's a shit console. You have shit taste.
