Yeah I have those weird half cartoonish memories of it from when I was about 5 or 6. To a little kids mind it just felt like this little reality of infinite depth, I got lost outside peaches castle somehow and remember feeling the awe at the size of the world. It seems so quaint now

Your post reminds me of when my best friend's dad, who was a Boeing flight sim designer, remarking and marveling at how massive Ocarina of Time was. He was like:
