Nvidia is shit with kernel updates and never supports it's old products. The JN 2GB was cheap as fuck for what it did but it was just the guts from a revised Switch... being cheap is about the only good thing about it. If you want to use it as a Linux board then good luck cause you'll break the gpu drivers

Complete overkill. The point of the Jetson devices is to have a GPU on board powerful enough to do real-time inference, that's why it has such a large heatsink.
You'll have problems with the software stack and drivers, which is primarily focused around AI and IIRC mostly from Nvidia's proprietary apt repo, for no real tangible benefit
