>Make My Video is a series of three video games by Digital Pictures in 1992 for the Sega Mega-CD and personal computers. The games featured three songs from the respective musical group, and the player edited pre-made clips to make a new music video. The games were universally panned and were financial disasters.
>In each game players are given instructions of what they should include in the video, and then the song is played while the video is edited live. Players can change between video clips available by pressing the buttons on the controller, and choose from clips of videos of the group, stock footage, movie clips, and special effects.

DBZ's dub was still in the Namek arc at this point in syndication. Hell, the episodes past Goku arriving on Namek wouldn't be dubbed until late 1999.

But anyone who had access to the internet knew about the entire series. It was pretty common knowledge if you just searched around for assorted DBZ websites like Planet Namek, DBZ Uncensored, Daizenshuu EX, etc.

Not to mention the fansubs that went around. Anime Labs fansub tapes is how my circle of friends saw just about every movie after 3 (I remember we would always joke about how movie 12 could never be dubbed and released here because of the Hitler scene, and lo and behold some 15 years later we finally got it). We also had CD-Rs filled with GT fansubbed in its entirety in abysmal 160x120 or whatever small resolution RM format, but we enjoyed it nevertheless.

Good times.

It's because of low resolutions. Console games of that area would look really bad if the image was blown up to fit two pages, so they were kept small. These days people use CG art, or if it's a game on a PC they use screenshots taken in 1080p.
