You can get the Eagle in the first 10 minutes of the game if you
>choose to engage nemesis outside the police station and kite him all the way down the street and get him stuck on the archway at the very end making it easy to kill him with pistol
>engage him again in the office where will smith dies and kite him into the office and get him stuck on the bookshelf
Very easy, takes a bit of practice, but the Eagle is sick for domin kids

The courtyard one only stays in the courtyard and street(s) before the police station if you backtrack I think and can't enter the police station

then you get a 2nd fight when he bursts through the window and this time can't exit the police station

I just replayed og RE1 with Chris after fucking loving REmake and I will probably play 2 till the end soon, I have had it for years but never really beat. Thanks to Onimusha and REmake now I really got the hang of tank controls and am in a bit of a Resi kick. The webms here are making me really regret not buying Resi 3 while it wasn't insultingly expensive, it looks fucking awesome and I really want to see Nemesis.

The GC version looks cool but the PS1 original is cheaper where I live so getting might be a bit more realistic for me.

compared to REmake 2, yes. It felt lower-grade in a matter of minutes to me. A step back in terms of polish compared to REmake 2, and TEN steps back compared to RE3.

Still, I did enjoy some set-pieces and the music. Got it on sale, played REsistance a lot (until the Nicholai update), so no hard feelings from me.

Yo, you guys should check out Lord of the Necropolis. Not some easy shit but it's definitely the most playable and creative RE3 mod out there. Once you understand the whole shit you'll fall in love with it. It's feels like the original devs decided to take the game and enhance it. New things feel THAT native.
And the secret ending is super melancolic and emotional

Just fight him in the courtyard with the pistol. Run past his exposed shoulder side when he approaches, and 95% of his attacks will miss. Then shoot him more and repeat. His only attack that hits that side is a low-damage jab and he uses it very, very infrequently - they made him to spam grabs.
