I've got a couple spare bucks. Should I pick up Perfect Dark or Jet Force Gamini first?

Perfect Dark.

>> No.839663

I would go for jet force.

>> No.839669

JFG has some really weird controls. But then, it's pretty hard to pick up an old FPS like Perfect Dark too. Fuck it, get a different game.

Perfect Dark, of course.

Make sure you play with 1.2 controls. The default "tank" controls are awful.

All hail Perfect Dark.

PD is you plan to multi

JFG if you dont

That is insulting. Perfect Dark's singleplayer is far better than the multiplayer.

or just let him decide for himself which is more comfortable.

shit it must be every goldeneye/perfect dark thread with a guy quickly rushing in and screaming "USE 1.2 BECAUSE 1.1 A SHIT I BET YOU CAN'T BEAT DARKSIMS ON 1.1"

I was only trying to be helpful, anon. A huge portion of modern players play Perfect Dark, and struggle with the Metroid Prime-esque controls. It's not about being better at the game - it's about having a better experience, especially compared to the XBLA port.

You don't have any friends, do you?

Once again, just let OP figure out which is most comfortable for HIM. If he doesn't like the defaults the controls menu is pretty damn hard to miss.

A staggering amount of players completely fail to understand the game has alternate control schemes. No joke.

That's an impressive feat in itself, to be able to ignore an entire screen that, out of all the options shown, has one that is very clearly marked CONTROLS.

Are modern gamers so damned retarded that they can't even comprehend a single menu that isn't "start game"?

Every since i was a kid i always explored the menus first when i got a new game. Saved me a bunch of headache
