Yeah it's probably one of the best PSX games, Atlus was so retarded not to bring this over but bring Rhebus over. I haven't played it in years and years but I remember it being really cool, despite a lot of back tracking and slogging through battles between areas. Growlanser 4 improved that a lot.

The girls of Sakura Taisen are the most basic bitches. They don't even have the personality much less the quality of Urushihara designed girls. You can just look at them and guess the whole backstory and whatever they will say.

I thought that was Hagiwara-sensei of Bastard!! who was going blind. I think that's why they will publish 1 maybe 2 pages of the comic every 2 months, but I am not sure. Similar to how I heard Katsura-sensei of I"s/Zetman/Video Girl Ai was in some vehicular accident at some point and had to relearn how to draw into the style that we now see with Astral Chain. Or the character artist to the Rumble Roses games being a paraplegic who draws with his mouth. I have not looked into these statements as they may be unsubstantiated Either way, they are talented artists who can draw better characters in more challenging conditions than I with functioning eyes, limbs, and motor functions.

No, I lament that Sega put so many eggs in that failing basket which was a catalyst to their financial troubles. Everyone mentions Shenmue as the money pit, but seem to forget they put that much into Sakura Taisen 3's development too which was also a bad bet that did not pay off. Sure, in retrospect, designing basic bitches seemed like a safe bet for sales but ultimately unmemorable. The series is pretty much bargain bin items, like Madden of prior years here. Their addition to making bad games ultimately caused them to close down their arcades. While I am one of few who do like Sega games, it is probably best they disappear and take everything with them.

The weird thing is I see they're translating and patching 6 before 1. Since everyone got involved in the series because of 2 and 3, which was an epilogue and prequel, you'd think they'd do 1 first as it's translated and is an eye catcher at every step.
