There's at least a couple workbenches involving multiple saves with different tab configurations and I'm a bit confused on how they're intended to be used. There's also some decent saved parks in that section. Kingdom of Magick is a good one, and I think I have a empty version. https://web.archive.org/web/20080802015201/http://rctinc.tycoonplanet.com/sg2/pages/page2.shtml

Develop is a misnomer. Shit is always stable there. No reason not to always be on develop.

So with this recent update, every RCT1 feature is fully replicated in openrct2 now?

>> No.8353382

This looks strangely fun. Guess I should buy a copy of RCT2 so I can get to playing it.

>> No.8353409

>>8353382
If you get RCT1 as well you can link it to OpenRCT2 and have those scenarios as well.

except for stacks of multiple interlocking loops, that was removed by the fun police

Yeah, it works with any release as well so you don't have to worry about which storefront you buy it from.

This, you can bring in RCT1 style progression if you find unlocking scenarios to be more fun.

I think the main way to buy it at this point is a bundle containing both games and all their expansions anyway.

>> No.8354810

>>8354650
Nope you have to buy them separately.

Btw they are currently heavily discounted on gog:

Hi, i'm new with this, i downloaded my rct2 but i have a question, wasn't there an expansion that added water slides/pool? Did i dreamed about it? I know rct3 has it but i remember i saw a youtube video about pools in rct2

>> No.8354862

custom rides like that may exist
people often make non-functioning water slides and pools with scenery as well

Amazing Earl made a functional swimming pool. It's a boat hire, so just watch out for the drawbacks of freeform BHs.

It allows qualitative changes to how maps can be made now that didn't really have a lower-scale version. A big park would just be a park but bigger. But more than 2 entrances lets you do things like build quad-entrance scenarios for multiplayer or really evenly dispersed maps (of ordinary size or of extra large).
