It's not a bad 3D fighting game from Konami. I'm pretty sure Risa is suppose to be Lisa, and that is just some engrish. Though 'Risa' just adds more charm. Also, it had DOA inspired bounce physics.

Japanese do commonly get the letters R and L mixed up. I've known quite a few Japanese people, and when any of them tried to speak English to me, they would always gets their R's and L's backwards. That's why it's called EngRish. But, maybe it is Risa? I could be wrong.

On topic, I still play DoA2 with a mate of mine, we've been doing so since shortly after it came out. Funnily enough, we each have two coomer characters (I have Ayane and Lei Fang, he has Kasumi and Helena) and a non coomer character or two (he has Hayabusa and Leon, I have Bass). I know that it isn't a good "competitive" fighter, but it has to be good for something if two guys who don't really like fighting games have been playing it regularly for almost 20 years.
