FromSoftware is hit or miss. Souls games don't "validate" their crappy ps2 games, they were in the bargain bin at Costco for a reason.
King's Field 4 and Armored Core 2 games were okay not great. Lost Kingdoms, Evergrace, Eternal Ring were all kinds of trash with migraine inducing design.

this and everygrace 2 are my absolute favorite vidya soundtracks,. i still listen to 'The twin goddesses' and 'forgotten valley' regularly.

Even the marketplace song from the first game that was memed to hell isnt even bad, it sounds bustling and crowded and i think it really fits a marketplace. It really grows on you after you a few plays and you start to appreciate the bizarreness of it

i remember a post from a bad video game ost thread talking about this song which said something like

In the Japanese ver. of Evergrace Sharline is called Sharuami and Morpheus is Baguragera. Renaming stuff in localization is an old story but those names are just great.
According to a comment below one of the in-game OST youtube videos in Evergrace it's possible to quickly perform a second normal attack if you hit the attack button right when the first hit connects.

The Japanese ver. of Eternal Ring lacks voice acting except for bits like the narrator in the opening while the English versions feature full voice acting for dialogues.

The PAL ver. of King's Field IV and its English translation is unmistakably different from the US one and feels bad in places. Like calling Dark Magician Black Magic Man.
