The level design sucked. I don't know what more to say than that.
The mechanics were interesting (they really don't do enough with the rubber band gimmick), the music was fantastic, the special stages were amazing, the aesthetics were some of the best of any Sonic game, but... the levels just had nothing of worth to offer. They're crap.
I really want to like Knuckles Chaotix, but I just don't have any fun playing the levels, so I can't.
