I mean, as far as retro gaming goes the Gamecube games really aren't that expensive and there aren't that many "must-have" titles. I think you could get like 80% of the best games for less than 500$ total.

So unless you're poor I really don't see why you wouldn't just buy the actual games.

Get Nintendont, load coliseum, and plug in GBA. That's it.

Is there a a non-expensive option to use an origional SNES controller on a Gamecube? I know about Raphnet, but it'll costs $25 plus shipping and tip to get it to me

swiss on a gamecube, nintendont on a wii or wii u, dolphin on anything else.
all work decently, but on gamecube, loading games from anywhere but the disc drive is slower than a disc, so if you insist on pirating games on a real gamecube (why?) you want an ODE (gcloader) in the long run

I did get this one from the goodwill's website for $30 recently. Granted I do have two wavebird and one receiver, but it is always good to have a wired controller. From what I have seen on ebay, people tend to sell controllers for that much if they have a scruff or the rubber on the analog stick is missing.

If you (pay lol) for developer mode you can install RetroArch. You cannot use retail games, gamepass or the store with a dev console though.

Which is why people use the series S which is like $300. It can play everything from psp, Saturn, GameCube, Wii and PS2
