Sonic Adventure in the 00s was so overrated that it eventually became hated. Now, in the 10s and 20s, it is so overhated that it looped back round to being underrated.

What are some other retro games for which this applies?

FF8 seems to go through cycles of being hated and being a underrated classic. Though I think this has more to do with what groups of people you listen to and if an influencer has gotten their followers that don't form their own opinions to just mimic them.

What are you even referring to here? DX? Yes, it looks like shit. You can't mean Battle because Battle looks pretty much the same as SA2 outside of specific cutscenes and random stuff added to levels that don't look different.

Which parts are you talking about? I think they made some of the A ranks harder to get but besides that I'm not certain.

These mostly apply to the Story Mode, if the music in the levels is lower quality or something then that sucks.
