The Disney games on the Mega Drive are all pretty solid. Aladdin, Maui Mallard, Mickey Mania, Quackshot, World of Illusion. Not outstanding, but solid.

Thus. It doesn't do anything too wild and there are better platformers on the same console for sure,, but it doesn't overstay its welcome and the overall atmosphere is perfect for anybody who grew up with those 80s/90s McDonald's vhs tapes. I emulated it on a whim at a friend's house years ago for shits and giggles but actually played through it front to back in one sitting.

PC version is identical if you're a PC gamer. I think nowadays there's some digital rerelease that runs on modern PCs out of the box, but the last time I played it I had to apply community patches, official patches and community patches for the official patches in exactly the right order for it to launch.

Avoid the N64 version.
