I don't, but I do like casino themed levels in other games. Like pic related. Reminds me of Vegas Vacation's Cheapo Casino.

My grandmother was obsessed with these games. In retrospect I think she had a gambling addiction.

well, at least video games aren’t real money.

Absolutely trivial.

Creating games like this were free money compared to designing a real and fun game.

>> No.8184168

I'd love to find one that's fast and works well on a controller. All the ones I've played have long delays between actions or bad controls/UI.

you've never written a line of code in your life. proceed to shut the fuck up now.

>> No.8184179

There's a disassembly of the US Dragon Warrior 1 online; go check that out for the convoluted coding they had to do since they couldn't use BCD mode.

I've written thousands of lines of professional code and written several NES games (not very good ones, just written as a hobby).

Don't reply back to me again and don't talk about things you know nothing about again.

It's basically a spreadsheet and it's easier to do that stuff on a computer with lots of rewritable RAM and a better CPU

Vegas Dreams has cartridge RAM as well. It appears they needed extra work space.

It actually looks pretty well-designed game for a NES casino game, it's not just a bunch of screens.

>Golden Nugget Atlantic City is a hotel, casino, and marina located in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Opened in 1985 as Trump's Castle, it was renamed Trump Marina in 1997. Landry's, Inc. purchased the casino from Trump Entertainment Resorts in February 2011, and the sale was approved in late May. Landry's took control of the property on May 23, 2011.

It doesn't matter which casino or country you go to. Vegas, Macao, Monaco, all the same. It's just old boomers wearing casual clothes sitting in front of slot machines throwing away their kids' inheritance one coin at a time.

They wouldn't be popular tourist destinations in Vegas if they were.

I swear my version of Caesar's Palace (or at least that's what the bootleg label said) on the SNES had the main character doing what appeared to be a brief monologue before the gameplay started. I can't for the life of me find that part in any gameplay video, not even in the japanese version, which was the one I had.
I know this is a bizarre request, but can anyone tell me whether it is from the game or if it's from another one/a different version? That cart hasn't worked in about 20 years and I always thought it was kind of an out of place moment that I should see again as an adult

I thought the games where you could actually get away from the tables and explore the casino were pretty cool. Casino Kid on the NES does that and I think there was a SNES game that did too.
