One person with a legit US copy complained about this in a reply too. I was thinking it might be an issue with the rip. All the sounds on your copy are mono right? If so it's likely from the original rip by KALISTO. To be honest anyone who is serious about pirating on a Dreamcast should have an ODE at this point. Downsampling games made it work at the time. I'd only recommend this shit to people who are very casual DC players or people who would be willing to buy games that don't normally fit on a CD-R.

>>8154951
>broscience
Depends on what you're playing on it. Fire up the ECHELON release of Skies Of Arcadia and listen to your DC wheeze. Now imagine what happens when you play that game for extended periods of time. Those groups (especially KALISTO/ECHELON, they didn't have much competition) deserve props for what they managed to pull off at the time. If you're serious about this you should probably look for a better solution though.

Because the PS2 was a successful console with a long lifespan and multiple hardware and firmware revisions. It also has a lot of I/O options so there's more than one way to get the job done. If you want it to be simple here's the last advice you will ever need. Burn this to a DVD. https://github.com/CTurt/FreeDVDBoot If it boots you're done. Install FreeMCBoot to a memory card and burn ESR patched games. If it doesn't boot buy a memory card with FreeMCBoot already on it and do the same thing, burn ESR patched games.

they probably mean boot disc

you put the boot disc into the dreamcast, it'll load up a gui of some sort, then you open the lid of the dreamcast without shutting off the system, but in your burnt game and shut the lid and it will load the game.

most releases should be "self-boot" by now though as a lot were back in in the early 2000s

You make me hate something I otherwise enjoy by way of reverse psychology. I had a shitty emulation experience this morning and I'm still pretty salty about it.
