Are you just here to shitpost about F-zero? If not, try a more direct comparison, like the Cruis'n series vs any 90s Sega arcade racer. The Cruis'n games are just meant to be accessible fluff without a whole lot of mechanical depth, while the Sega racers were technical as fuck.

I bought a N64 on launch and have played it more than 99% of you anons. Still own it but for some reason I only have Mario Kart 64 left. Not sure where the rest of my collection ended up.

What I'm getting at is after becoming so familiar with it I feel confident in saying it has no racing games of high quality.

Cruisin was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it a lot as a rental. Cruisin World didn't feel as good. Going to the moon felt tacky.

"winning" in arcade racing games is so fucking easy. Significantly easier than winning in master mode for F-Zero X, which itself isn't hard once you really know the mechanics of the game.
