Hey /vr/ whats that one game you want a physical copy of, but can't get your hands on one? Pic related.

Personally I love to own a good complete copy of Guardian Heroes for the Sega Saturn but can't justify spending 90+ on it.

Right?

I think the worst part of it all is that most of them are JP versions. I think the one for 90 on amazon is NTSC though.

On a side note, people who charge shipping on a $90 game are fucking assholes.

What blows my mind is how they decided these prices
Soul Calibur was printed about the same and you can get as cheap as $20 and it's a established franchise.

Even though I can emulate it now, I remember being byped about Shantae coming out for the GBC, though I didn't have one at the time. Kick myself constantly for not buying it then.

>I think the worst part of it all is that most of them are JP versions. I think the one for 90 on amazon is NTSC though.

Japanese games are also NTSC you fucktard. The game only came out in Japan too, so any other version you find is guaranteed to be a reproduction.

In fact, if you find this game for less than $200, chances are it's a repro. That cartridge is fairly easy to fake and I've already seen a few bootleg copies that looked almost identical to the real thing on various auction sites.

>> No.817624

You think that's bad? I owned it in 2002, and some fuck stole my Dreamcast and Playstation and all of their games while I was at work.

If I that hadn't happened, and I sold it all today, it would be an easy two or three thousand dollars. At the time, I was just buying games that I thought were interesting. Ah well. Day's wrecked now that I thought about it.

Alternatively, you can get a reproduction of said game in two versions. The American one and the Japanese one, complete with expanded audio on the latter. USA one will cost $68 while the Japanese one will cost $80. Both come complete in box, and they are both made with all new parts; no Return of the Joker carts were harmed for these!
