When was the last time we had a Second Life thread? This game has been getting revitalized since last year. If you have an inactive account, maybe now it could be a good time to give it a second chance. If we are enough people we could even make a /vr/ meetup.

I tried it back in the early 00s when it was still relevant and recently this year. I expected it to be abandoned but there's still hardcore SL fags populating it despite it being a dying game.
The biggest change is low-poly 3-wall structures with a fuckton of vendor panels are no longer the norm. The remaining players want their environments to look like something. You can still see the ruins of this crap if you go to the mainland though. Probably the coolest thing about the game is all the deserted 3D environments never to be used again by roleplay fags.
Almost 20 years later it still runs like ASS. It's not your computer, if you look at videos on youtube it runs like shit for everybody.

Slightly unrelated but... I went on SL recently and my avatar/character is some random shitty model of a generic guy and he's in a wheel chair, but his animation is him dancing, doing a crab walk and just spazzing the fuck out like a turbo autist. I also constantly play "Gas Gas Gas". Anyway, so then some leftist nigger came out of fucking nowhere and asked "are you disabled?" i said "no i just find this funny" and after waiting for like 5 minutes as they typed, i finally get "you are a truly DIGSUTING human being!!" with a reeee filled wall of text and then the coward immediately left the server. I fucking lol'd.

Then later on i was listening in on two feminist gender studies girls, one from Ireland and one from yankeestan, basically patting each other on the back and smelling their own farts, while also trying to out-do the other at sounding intelligent. It was the most cringey and fucking childish tumblr level shit you could imagine hearing. So i put the mic to my arse and almost shit myself doing the longest fart. 20+ seconds. "this is all i'm hearing from you whores".

And then finally there's the furries in that sonic themed area... You all know the place right? kek.

Going on SL with friends and then encountering these mental cunts is the only entertaining thing about it.

Yes it's shit. Either they never fixed it, or they fixed it then added a bunch of new graphical effects that lagged everything to hell again.
There are third party browsers, Alchemy is supposed to be good and it seems to run less shitty but it's still bad.
