Better for fighting games? Yes.
Better dpad? Lol

Agreed. I was playing with my SNES for the first time in awhile today (DKC2) and was impressed how responsive the Dpad was.

It just feels good

I'd rather every d-pad be clicky like a NGPC.

Honestly I think Playstation controllers have the best d-pad because the directions aren't connected on the face of the controller. I always know exactly which of the 8 directions I'm pressing since I never have to worry about tilting the entire d-pad one way or the other. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 made me a believer in the PSX d-pad. No one ever seems to agree with me, though.

I know what you mean, but there is something missing. I suppose I like to 'rock' the dpad.

Ps controller has to be second place.

Only wins on buttons (fierce bumpers just feels wrong) Dpad sucks.

Nobody has used a Vita, I thought that was common knowledge.

sorry, but this

is far superior. much more responsive and tactile.

>> No.809182

>>809080

it's still one piece though, it tilts one way or the other, just not as obviously

and how does making the button areas smaller make them easier to hit

to me it seems like using a joystick by pushing it to the right with just one finger--until you need to go left at which point you move your finger around the joystick and push to the left

if your tool is a tilty thing why not just connect yourself to it continuously and never change your contact with it so that every motion you make gets reflected in the game

(with a non-PlayStation d-pad this means stretching your thumb straight across the pad)
