Any games or genres you just can't play anymore for any reason? Same thing happened when I tried to play Streets of Rage 2 last year. My hand hurt for a week after that day.

I tried to replay Chrono Trigger on the DS because I wanted to see the extra content. I did x2 speed for awhile but eventually caved and decided to just read and watch the extra content I was interested in. JRPGS are some of the worst games to replay in my opinion.

Download the DLC files at the Gamefaqs saves page and put them in your PPSSPP memstick folder (save in-game once to create it, obviously) for the game. There are two different versions for the USA version, I think the first one for USA listed doesn't work but the second does. Be prepared for a brutal time especially if you're going to play on hard, I'm convinced picture related is borderline impossible because there isn't a single record of anyone beating him as Roll and on hard.

That might be why it hurts actually, I've been playing on PC for the vast majority of the last year with keyboard and arcade sticks so going back to controller all my core thumb muscles are out of practice and atrophied. I'm not sure it's worth building them back up again. Playing MegaMan on stick would feel weird, but I guess it's doable.

In practice, I don't think this is as true as you claim. There's status effects, there's attacks that are simply too strong to prepare for, there's bosses that attack multiple times in a row. There's a lot of RPGs that are just number crunching and level grinding, but there's a lot that aren't. Action RPGs especially.
