Would you guys recommend pic related (Anbernic RG351-P) or the Retroid Pocket 2 for someone mainly wanting to play GBA, SNES, and Genesis?

I got a retroid pocket for my brother-in-law as a gift, and when I was setting it up, I didn't really love the d-pad for side scrollers. It kind of felt too clicky and shallow, and I've heard that the anbernic device has less input lag.

RP2 has no input lag, and is fun as fuck. I love mine but I wish it could play Dreamcast games a little better. Everything up to PSX is up to 100%. N64 runs at like 98% with occational framerate dips.

I say wait for the RG352 or whatever. I guarantee that as soon as I get the 351M. We're better off waiting.

I enjoy the 280V for all the handhelds. Excellent form factor if you don't mind reaching for the trigger buttons on the PSX games. No input lag detected because I do not have Asperger's.

I just want the Analogue Pocket to get released already. If you have SNES carts, buy pic related.

Got a RG351V and I've been having the time of my life.
I even have a hacked Vita and 3DS but switched to the 351V for everything retro, is that good.

not even but the Vita doesn't really cut it anymore. Anything less than an android tablet is kind of useless. Something needs to be syncing saves. Give me retroarch and syncthing and leave me to it. I can't wait for the Steam deck.

RP2 is great, but SNES emu is a little weird. GBA seems to run well though, playing Mother 3 on mine. Have not tried Genesis emulation yet on it.

N64 runs surprisingly well but not perfect. ~55FPS in F zero X, Paper Mario runs well.
