Do you think I should sell my SSB64 for $20?

>> No.807562

You can definitely get more than that for it. I work in a retro game store, and we sell it for $35.

>> No.807565

>>807562
Yeah but what do you buy it for?

>> No.807572

$5? Game stores will always rip you off. Also, we can't ever keep it in stock, even at that price.

My local retro game shop is offering $20. I'll prolly take it.

>> No.807585

I put copies of Smash Bros. on eBay for 30 dollars when I get extra copies, and they sell overnight, if that's any indication. I'm sure there will be more people interested with the recent Smash Bros. announcement.

A local game store around here was selling it for $55.

I managed to snag it recently for around $10, so yeah, that store can go fuck itself

Jesus, those are ridiculously good trade-in values for some of those games. What the hell do they expect to sell them for?

>> No.807902

>>807574
Thats a lot for a retro store, but you can score more over ebay.

>> No.807907

>>807891
The thing is that none of those games are hard to sell over the internet, so even with those prices you probably shouldnt take your copies there.

They mark them up pretty high. These particular titles are kept behind the counter or in a display case. Expect to see them priced at least double or triple what they're paying.

Rule of thumb for me when shopping at Game Over: if i see a game I'm interested in, I'll check Ebay first. If it's considerably cheaper, then I'll pass.

I saw one go for $35 on Craigslist.
Ebay probably has even more insane prices

This
And since a good amount of people don't know the value of their games they'd probably dig them out just for that

Kartia and the first Suikoden are pretty cheap.

Kartia is only $15 and Suikoden is usually $20-25

Well I had just called them to check on prices, all of the games except for Thousand Arms and Legend of Mana sold. The remaining two games are going for $50 a pop. I'd imagine the other games probably went for about the same amount.

I bought a pair of Master System controllers for $1 at a flea market Friday.

What's a fair price to resell them at?
