Why does /Vr/ want one?

Nobody wants one. I have original hardware with ODEs and flashcarts, and BigBox/Retroarch on my PC. The Polymega's one job was to be an FPGA console and it failed miserably. It's a glorified Retron 5 but you have to buy all the cartridge and controller ports separately. For a quarter of the price you could throw together a PC and load a frontend on it yourself.

This, the Polymega would me more appealing if I had a fuck ton of physical games already, but at it's current price, anyone else is better off setting up an equally priced gaming PC for the living room

The only good thing I see out of this is they made a 6 button turbo controller for cheap that works on real hardware

The only thing. The ONLY THING. I like about the Polymega is the frontend it uses. It looks fucking slick. Other than that, the system's a shitload of fuck.
