I have finished the super metroid, metroid fusion y zero mission. And seems that there is no other 2D metroids. Jutsthe atari ones, but just NO.

Are there another 2D plataformer similar to metroid?? With upgrades, save points, some puzzles, and awesome boss batles.

There's a large portion of the Castlevania series. You might also want to try out Phantom 2040 on the SNES.

If you want exploring and power ups, try Fist 2: The Legend Continues, on Spectrum, C64 and BBC Micro, though that's a beat-em-up instead of a platformer and is powerfully old.

Have you tried the Kid Icarus games, OP? The NES and GB ones are mostly platformers, but the castle sections are nice Metroid-y exploration sections, though they don't really do utility power-ups outside of map-making items.

They were made by Mattel (people who sold the NES originally), kinda rare actually.
