This game was just annoying trial and error due to poor controls and it being more annoying later if you mess up and don't reload a save to correct your previous mistakes. I tried playing it without looking anything up until around the guard house area. Apparently you can kill a giant snake but not a shark, for some reason. Oh well, better reload a save and not bother wasting bullets. Wooow.

No idea why people seem to like this experience. Silent Hill did everything RE attempted way better, and didn't feel like an annoying test of patience.

Silent Hill’s puzzles are far more difficult though. I’d argue it’s much easier to get stuck in those games.

It's because back then games were made for men, not pussies

>Silent Hill did everything RE
At this poine Resident Evil is like the Nintendo of horror games. Every fucking time people feel the need to compare a survival horror game they like to Resident Evil and say
>see? It did everything better than RE!

Translation of what OP said into words heterosexuals can understand:
>Dying in a game is trial and error, and bad
>I couldn't handle the controls or manage my inventory
>I was so bad I had to use guides and I often do this, ruining games for myself because I can't beat games that children have completed
>Loading a save hurts my feelings
>Silent Hill is so much better because I like it more and it was easier for me with my guides, and I loved replaying a school area, apartment building, hospital, etc... ten times over in the series with them often twice in the same game

This game isn't for men. A teen can beat it. OP just needs to acquire skill. The game controls fine, messing up is part of the game (going to give OP a hint, there are enough supplies in the game for you to "make mistskes" provided you're not purposely firing shotgun shells into walls), and the game I'd not too hard to figure out. Maybe some crimson heads will scare him shitless but those are easily avoided with body burning or quick progression.

He didn't play the game, you silly guys, he watched a let's play. Because if he played it himself he would bitch about the ink ribbons/limited saves as well

He's not going to acquire skill, he'll use guides because he doesn't even want to try to do things himself.

Thanks for the translation, I can't read faggonese

Guides would unironically make him better though lmao
