I don't play old games to admire the programming ability, so if it's just the arcade game but worse because it's running on a shitty computer I'll pass. Good example of this: every port of Pac Man and Donkey Kong.
Games that improve on the arcade version, or ports you see on NES that are almost completely different games are still worth playing today.

I beat Sunset Riders today on the SNES for the first time by myself. Did it as Billy. After the game ends it turns the difficulty up, and unfortunately I got killed by Chief Wigwam because be does a sideways-roll attack that he doesn't do at all in the normal difficulty. Didn't see it coming.
