Because the games force Tails to constantly fall behind. Mania could have remedied this with a proper splitscreen mode even if just for online (not that it has one) but instead it just did the exact same shit. I like playing as Tails otherwise, it's fun and instigates some cool bro moments.

I hate how every video of the cutscenes for Sonic is the remaster. The original cutscenes had so much unintentional humor with how exaggerated and janky the mouth movement and animations were.
