It's a really weird game though, it's nice how close to the original arcade they made it.

it's very significant and the game, yeah, weird on top of that.

part of its difficulty comes from its arcade roots like you said and the controls being terrible. I finished Genpei Touma Den 2 at least but that game was much easier and lacked the two modi (top down and wide sidescrolling) the first game had.

I wanna play the NES boardgame RPG as well. Does anybody know if there is a translation? I tried it and it seemed really fun. it's turn based of course.

For PC Engine emulation you won't need anything else than Ootake. It's 100% free, it plays everything perfectly and it's easy to use. Just keep in mind that you'll also need Daemon Tools in order to play the PC Engine CD games.
