FYI all PlayStation games have a game id printed on the disc and case, for example >>7919461 has the id of SLPS-01031 and when you do a quick Google search on it you'll find it's Moon Remix RPG Adventure
The id itself does have some information you can tell from it though I'm not entirely sure how the japanese do it. Typically lower numbers mean earlier game. # at the end means a revision or a rerelease though sometimes the original got canned before it came out. Additional letters at the end mean special versions for example the european 2-in-1 Games have a -T at the end.
Perhaps most importantly SCES/SCUS are titles published by Sony in Europe and US respectively whereas SLES/SLUS are published by third parties. Demo discs have their own ids too.
The id is per disc so multi-disc games have one for each disc. US system is nonsensical whereas european multi-discs are somewhat sequential.

It's pretty neat and I like the unique Rodney art on the disc. Conversely, the US version has really boring box art in a regular jewel-case-and-manual setup, but the disc itself is neat other than the obligatory corporate logos covering the vinyl pattern.
