Holy shit big bang messed with the authenticity of the game. I remember how LONG and what an accomplishment it felt like just to get to the first job advancement back in 2005-06. Then a decade later I tried big bang and I got to level 60 in a day. I'm not kidding.

i have a job i don't have time to grind literal months to get to level 60. it was nice when i was a kid and could spend all day after school grinding and really felt accomplished, but nowadays i'd rather not spend hours and hours and hours and hours for one level
