Growing up I only played SoR2, but after finishing SoR4 I started playing this one and was surprised to find how ‘modern’ the controls were compared to SoR2

Is there a reason this one is mostly forgotten?

terrible western localization, came out late in MD's life, people didn't like the music, beat 'em ups were falling in popularity

I think it's an underrated game too, as long as you play the JP version.

this. they really butchered it for North America. if more people played Bare Knuckle III, I'm sure it'd be more popular. (BK3 is on the Genesis collection for PS4, so that's something.)
