As great as all this talk about classic and great games is, we're missing a trick on this board: spreading appreciation for games that are too damn good to be forgotten, that are slowly being lost to time.

We need to compile some sort of The Greatest Games You've Never Heard Of list.

So, TL;DR: recommend games no one but you seems to have heard of.

Any game released exclusively on the Saturn.

But mainly Panzer Dragoon Saga because of its massive rarity and that Sega lost the source code, meaning that it really is slowly being eroded.

Once the Saturns stop working it's pretty much gone forever.

PD Zwei too, have never been ported outside of the Saturn, and its the best in the series.

Not as difficult or frustrating. I find it considerably more fun than GnG, though I like both. Have you played BoO?

GnG is my favorite /vr/ series of all time. I love anything similar, this looks just as fun, if not as fast.
BoO? what is that referring to?

BoO = Battle of Olympus.
Imagine if someone took everything you hate about Castlevania II and swapped 1400s Romania with Ancient Greece and horror motif with Greek gods motif.
The gameplay is strikingly similar and the world is large and sprawling. It's a very good game.

Ecco Jr.

Sure it`s not creepy like the rest of the series and there`s no difficulty, but it`s a nice experience while you play it for an hour.

SSF has worked well for damn near a decade, and before that, Satourne.

Of course, neither are open sores, which means we'll have Problems® in the future.

Watched at TAS speedrun full of insane exploits. Looked tedious as fuck when most of the game was being brickshat. It is most definitely NOT on Zelda 2's level, at least in terms of gameplay.

A lot of people make that comparison, but it is far more similar to Castlevania II than tLoZ:AoL.

Are you implying that one is objectively better than the other or something?

Stupid question, but were these games made by the same company? because the graphic design on the titles look awfully similar.
