it's a bad screenshot

it looks much better during gameplay

>> No.786798

It looks charged before it actually is charged. Just hold the button down a bit longer. Try an earlier rattly stage to practice.

i do

he doesn't move up in down like i see in the lets plays

he kind of just short jumps twice and it's lower than the normal jump

i feel like it's just a problem with emulating it

>>786810
If you're emulating it on a DS, you might be pressing a turbo button, making a bunch of quick short jumps rather than charging.

i'm emulating with snes9x on a...mac

Are you holding down the regular jump button instead of A? There's a giant "A" made out of bananas for a reason.

Savestates are for chumps. They're only a crutch.

>They're only a crutch.
What is it with this dumb fucking phrase? A crutch is a medical device that helps you along until you can heal your body, or failing that—forever because you can't heal. It's an actively positive thing. How are you even attempting to put a negative connotation on this?

because they're for people who are basically disabled and anyone else who them is a freak

>> No.786910

>>786903
Your terrible typing aside, that has nothing to do with my point. If someone is metaphorically disabled at videogames, then they have to have a crutch. All you're doing then is either conflating actual disability with poor skill and laziness or looking at someone who is legitimately disables and laughing like a faggot.

>> No.786941

Open your controller input and look at what key the A button is bound to. Return to game. Hold key. If this fails, bind new key to A.

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what to say, because it seems to indicate the program isn't recognizing continued button presses, which effectively means you made it through 95% of the game without running, using Dixie's helicopter twirl, or holding any object for an extended period of time.

There is ultimately no difference. Bad reflexes, bad at puzzles, whatever vs. missing a limb--it's a trait of the person either way.

lol no

Neurons can rewire themselves and you can increase skill through practice and strategy, you can't will a limb back into existence unless you're piccolo
