Do you plan to get physical copies of games or do you just want to pirate them? If you want to go the physical route, JP imports will be your way to go since they're cheaper than NTSC-U/PAL versions by a country slide and come in leagues better condition.
If you just want to pirate them/play fan translations, get a red Action Replay cart off of ebay or Aliexpress or something, it'll be able to play JP releases region free anyways.

Im not so much into fighting games myself but do enjoy Vampire Hunter Darkstalker Revenge and marvel vs Street Fighter.

Elevator action 2 is a great game on the system.

If you dont like the saturn or retro games go back to /v/.
The saturn has lots of great games, and some people like to explore new ways to play retro games.
