and here is the playstation version by comparison. The flaw in people's logic when they complain about how the PC or GC versions look, is that they think only the models look better and that the backgrounds are identical to playstation. In reality, both the models and backgrounds look better, so the discprency between backgrounds and models, if any, is just the same as on PSX.

The only version which, compared to PSX, has higher res mode but worst looking backgrounds is the N64 version and its cropped & stretched JPEG backgrounds. You can complain about that version, it's shit.
