Yes, there's even been a /pin/ general at times, but interest and activity seems to wax and wane, haven't seen one in maybe a year.

I used to make many of those pinball threads, but with the rule change the board became too fast and they archived in two days.

Best 8-bit and 16-bit pinball console games? Tables are rare as fuck in my country because you need a gambling license to house them in establishments, Space Cadet is pretty groovy, but I want more options.

Naxat pinball games, 21st centurys pinball games on amiga, the rareware pinball games on nes (high speed and pinbot) and the majority of the ones made by nintendo.

but if you want the authentic pinball experience try Visual Pinball, it's the closest thing to a pinball emulator there is.

More neat arcade digital pins

1985 Pinball Action, not to be confused with 1991's Super Pinball Action, which has one of those "undress the waifu" mechanics to it.

Most of these are awesome, except Grand Cross, man I hated that one.

I've yet to see physical cabinets of any of these pins, there really aren't a lot of people who seem to care about arcade video pins.

Is there an up to date all in one VPX torrent or collection or something?

Any time I've ever tried to get VPX setup it's been a torture installing and configurations and files and patches and roms and just a huge hassle.

Surely there's a zip you can grab, unzip, everything's there with 200 tables. That isn't 6 years old?

Has anyone ever gotten multi ball to work on this? I follow the table rules on tables but I've never gotten multi ball to trigger on any of them.

>> No.7815505

>>7808685
fuck you, Super Pinball was ace. A bit repetitive since every table did the same shit, but that's true for most Pinball games. The music was also aces.

You check out its Saturn sequel, Digital Pinball Necronomicon. It's the same shit but in 5x the resolution, Lovecraft based tables, and prog metal music (featuring John Petrucci of Dream Theater).

This played fine, but what they did to the music on the SNES port was a war crime. Imagine a tracker song with every single sample reduced to 1/10th the sample rate. Only one of the tracks sounded fine, because it was a menu song (so no sound effects to take memory) and the amiga original samples fit into the SNES sound ram.

I still listen to the amiga originals music, especially the Stones N Bones table and the Steelchambers title song. Some guy remixed the title song to use the original quality Roland samples, it sounds so much clearer:
