Did you beat it?

>> No.780587

Yeah. But the last egg took me almost a full hour to find.

>> No.780594

No, and I haven't played it. Is it good? I could use google, but I could do this process instead.

>> No.780595

No... ;_;

>> No.780696

No.

> TFW you never fought the T-rex.

>> No.780710

I remember finding the T-Rex
Biggest WTF moment of the 90's

>> No.781310

P sure that game was designed to never be beaten.

I got pretty far as a kid though. It was probably the fact that I got close to beating Tool Time several times as a kid.

>> No.781391

Hell no. Those eggs are fucking everywhere, even with a guide it's a pain in the ass.

>> No.781412

Only on an emulator. I think a save system would've helped.

>> No.781427

Yes I did. I raged at the "ending"

>> No.781440

Oh, god, Ocean made that into a game? Not surprised if it's bad, Cool World was horrible on SNES, and even worse on the NES.

>> No.781446

This is one of the few games I bought (my parents bought for me) as a kid. I would get to buy one game a year at the most, and it always consisted of going to K-Mart and picking out the one with the coolest box. I was pretty casual back then.

Anyway, I played the fuck out of it, but I don't think I ever got very far if I remember correctly. I was never patient enough as a kid to read manuals or sit through tutorials, so I didn't really know what the goal was, and I remember just walking around aimlessly shooting at shit.

I still had fun with it. The first person parts scared the shit out of me for whatever reason.

>> No.781467

>>781440
It's not really that bad,
but it's fairly big and open world without a save function.

>> No.781473

>>781446
This.

I think I had it for Sega if I remember corrected (did it release on sega?)

Never played past the 2nd or 3rd area. I just remember jumping through trees and mini raptors eating me.

>> No.783035

I could all the eggs in 40 minutes but never got any further. I found the raptor nest once too, but other than that I dont know how you would win. If you have the right card key and call the helicopter?

>> No.783093

I was always 1 fucking egg short...

>> No.783102

Left my SNES on all weekend that I rented the game from Blockbuster and was able to beat it. Why it doesn't have at least passwords I have no clue

>> No.783140

>>781440
Are you implying ocean is bad faggot?

To answer OP's question, no. But i have played and beat the genesis one. I find it funny how close it is to the book in comparison to the movie.

>the elevator music

>> No.783564

Nope.

Always got lost inside buildings.

>> No.783567

No.

What was I even supposed to do? Get all the eggs? Were there eggs inside buildings? If not, what was the point of the buildings?

dat music

>> No.783741

yup, did I regret the time to beat it right away when seeing what passed for an ending? also yup, at least the game was fun for the day though

I actually beat this on an SNES decades ago without a guide. Though I do remember calling the Nintendo counselors for help on the ship, and they couldn't help me. The whole thing took 6 excruciating hours. I was so scared at the end I would get pounced on by a raptor and lose all my progress. The game really needed saves. It was one of the hardest games I've beaten.

Oh yeah, dat feel when your Jurassic park survival adventure turn into a balls to the wall action game when you reach the visitor's center

>> No.787018

My brother and I rented it several times, but we didn't finish it. Something about a nerve bomb? Great fuckin game.

>> No.788087

>>786969

I didn't even know it existed.

Released around SNES's end-of-life I'm assuming?

>> No.788091

>>786969
Nope!

>> No.788127 [DELETED]

>>786969
Is this real?

>> No.788596

No, the lack of a save feature always made this one an unbeatable for me. Every time I'd get far into it something would happen and my game lost.

>> No.789528

I beat the one on NES, but could never get into the Super Nintendo version because of how goofy Alan Grant looks and because they replaced the bullets with a gun which shoots electricity.

>> No.790185

>>780583
Nope, Ether died or couldn't find all the eggs
within 1-2 hours

>>780710
The t-rex scared me to death and I would die to it often until I figured out how to escape it

>>783534
>>784284
I love the elevator music, it made me feel safe after be scared of the dinosaurs.

>>786969
Nope, I couldn't even beat it on easy. To think that you had to beat the game on the hardest difficulty to see the real ending and all the levels.

>>787004
I had the regular version

>>787013
That level was hard, especially in the the end part that I never could figure out. I loved the music of the visitor center though.
