Would you feel good knowing that an old NES cart collecting dust on a shelf would be given new life by being cannibalized and resold like this?

I wouldn't be surprised if the game itself was still inside completely intact given the size of the game's PCB.

This one I've seen before (as well as a few others posted in this thread)

I don't know, it just screams gaudy to me. If you could still use them as carts/controllers, they may be onto something, but I'm pretty sure you can't. These Game Boy hard drives are pretty neat, but for whatever idiotic reason the cartridge slot is blocked so you can't actually play games with them. It's a shame because with a backlight mod or something they would really make great modernized gadgets. I guess that's what Android/iOS is for, but whatever.

No. Nothing posted in this thread really captures my interest and makes me want to open my wallet. But what I think you're really going for is

>u mad
Honestly, not really. I've used old carts that I had multiple duplicates of as coasters and made mock carts before by making a label in Photoshop, printing it out, and slapping it on a duplicate cart, and then making a mock box and instruction booklet if I really felt like going that extra mile. I did this mostly for friends, so they could be the "only owner" of Super Big Lebowski on the SNES. If people want to have fun and be creative with old technology, that's good for them.
