it never had it to begin with. Crash was behind its time, essentially a basic top down platformer from 2D era built with 3D graphics and collectathon elements. when 6th gen hit, turned out Crash was as archaic as tank controls, and its shitty scotformer humor and atmosphere never were great to begin with.
