It's fine. Sprites are a bit big. I remember people being hyped for Blue Lightning. They thought it was going to be After Burner in the palms of your hands. It wasn't.

I dunno. I mean, she did mention a playthrough. Kinds of ruins the experience if you know exactly what to expect - especially when it comes to shooters. That screen filling monstrosity of a boss doesn't seem so awe inspiring or fearsome if you know its coming.
