Just search for the Wesp unofficial patch. It has a vanilla and plus patch versions. Vanilla fixes bugs but keeps the game more or less the same as release. The plus version remixes things and restores some cut content. I recommend playing vanilla first and saving the plus patch for subsequent playthroughs.

Just replayed this recently, the atmosphere is probably the best in any game. It made me painfully want to go back to the early '00s.

Not only from a vampire fantasy standpoint either, but also as a historical zeitgeist tourism experience, this game just nails that late 90s vibe and atmosphere that I get ultra nostalgic for that period when playing instead of 2004/2005 when the game actually came out.
