I started playing Zork. No real idea of what I'm supposed to be doing, but I've been exploring the dungeon and had my sword stolen by a thief. The humor is refreshing and bizzare.

Can we have a text-based games thread? I suck at adventures but always loved these games.

I grew up playing text adventures. I love them. However, many of them are near impossible (at least the infocom adventures) because they wanted you to call their tip hotline and buy their guides which gave you non game-breaking hints. Anyway, I really loved Mindwheel. It's about traveling (or getting zapped) into the minds of four insane people for some purpose. I also remember playing Leather Goddess of Phobos in lewd mode as a 12 year old. I think one of the few games I beat was Enchanter (it may have been Sorcerer)
