It's the best action adventure game on the SNES, released during a time when Zelda games were actually revolutionary and not trying to copy OOT with some stupid gimmick tacked on. So yeah, you should definitely play it.

Finished the game a few days ago for the first time, it aged well, especially the fact you can teleport on the map help a lot when it comes to back tracking. I swear without the teleportation the game rhythm would have suffered a lot.

Of course everything remains classic, from the story... to the dungeon...( though some puzzles were neats and interesting )... to the mapworld ( one town with not much to do ) .
Sure it can even looks uninspired next to some later 2D Zelda like Minish Cap, but everything is classic at his best here, no bad surprise, Iy you liked other 2D Zelda I don't see why this one will disappoint you.
