Sometimes I’d move and do stuff like I was in a game too. If I were entering a door, I’d stop all other animations, move so that I’m perfectly aligned with the frame, then grab the handle and swing it open with one swift motion. I’d let my arm return to normal position before entering.

As a teenager I used to lean slightly forward and take a slightly faster step whenever I would walk past someone in a crowd. I did it to feel like I was doing an evade past an enemy charging at me. Like a DMC table hopper or just using roll i-frames. I don't think anyone even noticed what I was doing and just thought I was walking past them.

I was so poor and so obsessed with cartoons and video games that the way I would get around being unable to watch and play them would be to internalize them and play them using my own body. So for years I ran like a GTA character and kids laughed at me asking me why I ran like that even though I was too autistic to stop, and when this small asian kid said

But the fact that you're able to self-reflect and communicate decently well, even if it's just the Internet, probably means you're not autistic. Autism is a spectrum but it's also a very specific thing that most people simply don't have, and those who think they have it are probably just awkward due to having developed nerdy interests as a child, or having no friends because you're ugly/selfish or whatever. It's an unfortunate state of affairs either way, but at least you're probably not autistic (not that there would be anything seriously wrong with that anyway).
