there are -some- things to compare about systems.
mainly aesthetic and how much you like the controllers for the system.
aesthetic doesn't apply much to systems after ps2, but there's some charm to almost every system before it.
the mega drive's FM audio and limited color palettes, the super nintendo's sampled audio, mode 7 effects, and vibrant colors, the live-or-die texture filtering of the N64 that games either took advantage of or looked terrible for...
