This could have been cool had they fully committed to combining two games together. Imagine two entirely different games that if slotted together you could use game A's characters in Game B or vice versa depending on the order they're inserted. It'd be Sonic & Knuckles on steroids. The fact that it was Bandai though left it with nothing but shitty licensed anime games. This is something Nintendo would have had to do themselves to make it work.

The multiface 2 for spectrum and amstrad computers.

A funny little box you can use to stop any program in any moment, look for variables on their code and change everything in memory on the fly, then let it continue or save it to disk or tape and run it again another day. Literal savestates for real hardware.
